2020 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Welcome to CNFC for season 2020! The below provides important information in relation to registering at CNFC - for players, coaches, managers and officials.
It is a requirement for all individual registrations to be completed via the 'playfootball' website, where you will be directed to the Chipping Norton FC portal. This registration process was introduced in 2019 and is administered by Football Federation Australia (FFA). For players of school age the 'Active Kids Program' is again available. This provides for a rebate (voucher) of $100 per student, and can be redeemed at time of registration. Further information can be found on the ServiceNSW website - Active Kids Program.
The Club requires players to obtain the Active Kids voucher number in advance of registration in order to obtain the full $100 value, as a $10 processing fee will be required for subsequent club rebating. Parents should be aware that the entire process will be required to be completed again (including provision of Medicare card details) even if completed in 2019.
CNFC is a community based not-for-profit sporting club, and as such every effort is made to keep our packages reasonably priced and provide value for money. Our membership packages are as follows:
The age refers to the age the player turns in the current calendar year. Unfortunately, the governing bodies have removed the 'student' option this year.
Our registration packages include all match fees (referee costs), game day shorts and socks, playing jersey (for sponsored teams), a training ball (to U/16's) and a merchandise item (to U/16), as well as player related insurance, and affiliation fees associated with Southern Districts (SDSFA), FootballNSW and Football Federation of Australia (FFA). All match day costs including venue and referees are included within the registration package, meaning no weekly match fees, so no more to pay.
Playing apparel (shorts and socks) will be provided once teams are established, and sizing of players can be completed via team managers. Playing jerseys will be made to order at the same time, having determined team sponsorship requirements. Further information will be provided regarding sponsorship upon registration.
CNFC also allows various discounts for player membership packages, including $10 reduction for second and subsequent family members, and other discounts for players who are active referees affiliated with the Southern District Soccer Referees Association. Any such discounts will be subsequently rebated as the online registration system does not cater for this. Proof of referee affiliation is required and may be refunded where referee affiliation fees are paid subsequent to club registration.
Final registration will only be recognised once the online process has been completed and payment has been made. Waiting lists will be maintained to allow for withdrawals and / or new teams made from later registrations. Teams will start being determined from early February - refer separate News item.
Registration Day (inc. Payments)
Payments may be made at the designated registration date or online (at time of registration). The registration date for 2020 is between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 1 February at South Park - Charlton Avenue, Chipping Norton. There is no specific requirement to attend the registration day. It is an opportunity to make payment and for new players to complete a registration form and provide appropriate ID (copy of birth certificate or passport).
New and returning players and volunteers (coaches, managers, and club officials, etc...) should access the 'playfootball' web page and select the 'Get Started' link, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the online registration process. A new 'passport style' (head & shoulders) digital photo will need to be uploaded at time of online registration.
Families will need to create an account, linking all family members to a single email account. Returning players / families would have completed this last year. It is noted that the old 'FFA Number' is no longer the primary identifier.
There is a section with 'Available registration products'. Be sure to select Player (or Coach / Manager as appropriate) as Role; Club Football under Football Type; and Community as the Playing Level.

Alternatively please contact the Registrar, Ian Strevens, at the following email address - firstname.lastname@example.org Please note that registrations are not finalised until payment has been made in full, a team allocated, and an SDSFA (District) approval provided (including a player ID being issued). District approval is unable to be provided without full payment having been made.Players new to the club will need to provide suitable identification (drivers licence, proof of age card, birth certificate or passport) to confirm their identity. A Southern Districts registration form will need to be completed for all new players - Registration Form.
Registration of CNFC Coaches, Managers and Officials
CNFC relies upon its many volunteers for its team coaches and managers, and club officials. The club will pay all SDSFA fees associated with registering these positions.
Note: Coaches and managers of teams to 18 years of age will be required to complete a 'working with children' check, with specific information available via - WWC. WWC Numbers are valid for 4 years for volunteers. This is a compulsory requirement of FootballNSW - exemptions as per the Office of Children's Guardian do not apply.
